Recording Notes
------------------------
This is a slightly boomy but a very good recording of the classic 2nd "stealth show" from the 2 nite Hampton 10/89 mini-run. Some minor retracking of the original CD's was done with ADDAWAV/CDWAV from a copy burned in 1998 using a Fostex D-10 STudio DAT Standalone hhb CD recorder. All CD's can be placed back together on one contiguous medium (DAT, DVD-R)
Music Notes
------------------
* - The tracking for UJB is correct / Garcia was offkey for the 1st few notes of Uncle's Johns Band
(1) - A slightly amusing loud woman (nearing an auditory orgasm) is heard prominently during the 1st 2 minutes of Dark Star

Subject: Killer Show
I remember I was in college in Pennsylvania at the time and could only afford a ticket to one of the Hampton ... shows and ended up getting the second night. I remember being SO jealous when some of my friends came back after the first night and bragged how they'd pulled out Stagger Lee and Help/Slip/Franklins. Then, the next night, to get Dark Star and Death Don't Have No Mercy.....wow. I totally remember that one girl freaking during the first 2 mins of Dark Star. I remember Jerry really grooving to the crowd, you can totally hear it during Music Never Stopped, every time the crowd starts clapping the band comes back stronger. Funny part was at the end of Dark Star and the beginning of Drums/Space you can totally hear either Jerry or Bobby just desperately wanting to go into The Other One.
Thanks so much for the upload...brought back such great memories.
